She was born September 2, 1916 in Livingston, the daughter of the late Max and Josephine (Malench) Larcher.
She married Paul Ostrowsky in June, 1933 in Livingston. He preceded her in death.
She was a homemaker and a member of St. Boniface. She loved to read and do crossword puzzles, and she mowed her own lawn til the age of 92.
Besides her husband, Elma was preceded in death by her mother and father, one daughter, Alice Cobetto, and one brother, Max Larcher.
She was survived by a son-in-law, a grandson and a granddaughter, and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements were handled by Saksa Mateer Funeral Home.
