ROGERSVILLE - George Bradshaw Alley, 77, of Stanley Valley died at a Rogersville hospital at 10 p.m. Saturday [ 12/8/1962 ].
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Johnson Alley; one daughter, Mrs. Marie Barton, Rogersville; one son, George B. Alley Jr., Surgoinsville; five brothers, Ben Alley, Rogersville, Bob Alley, Seattle, Wash., Clyde and Cleve Alley, Church Hill, Clarence Alley, Bristol, Va.; two sisters, Mrs. George Wallace and Mrs. Claude Christian, Church Hill.
Funeral services will be held at Elm Springs Methodist Church at 2 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Rev. Charlie Bell and Rev. J. T. Ratledge will officiate.
The family will receive friends at Colboch-Price Funeral Home from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. today. The body will be taken to the church one hour before the service.
