Elizabeth Ann "Annie Sutton married Paul Ferguson in South Carolina. Together they pioneered from their farm near the Fishing Creek Presbyterian Church in Chester County, South Carolina, to Old Logan County, Kentucky, which is now Butler County. Their log cabin built in 1802 still stands near the cemetery. When the Ferguson-Graham Cemetery was surveyed on March 11, 2003, there was a field stone marked AF on a grave in the oldest line of the cemetery, just above the grave of John Ferguson.

All of the children except Paul Jr. came to SC with Paul and Annie. Paul Jr. purchased the farm in South Carolina and stayed there.
