MT/Sgt Bud Stuckey was a Marine from 1939 until 1946.
He was aircraft mechanic arriving Henderson Field,Guadalcanal on 25 sept. 1942 with VMF-121.Aircraft were Grumman F4F-4 "Wildcats".
Joe Foss,USMC top Ace and medal of honor receipient, was the exec officer of VMF-121.
Bud later served with Marine Night Fighter Squadron VMFN-542 on Okinawa.
By that time Grumman F6F "Hellcats" and Vought F4U "Corsair" fighter planes were in use.
"Once a Marine Always A Marine".
