BRENHAM, Texas --Troy Lee Huitt, 88, of Bellville, Texas, died May 9, 1998,
at Grace Terrace Convalescent Center at Brenham.
He was born on July 13, 1909, at Ingalls, Arkansas, a son of the
late Willie Fred and Emma Brooks Huitt.
He was a retired manager for J.C. Price Company, serving 34 years,
and was a member of First Baptist Church at Pine Bluff.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Carleen M. Battle Huitt, whom
he married on December 28, 1940, and who died on July 15, 1985; and a half
sister, Marcelle Johnson Sutterfield.
Survivors include two sons, Jack Lee Huitt of Bellville and Richard
Carl Huitt of Riverside, California; four grandchildren; and two great-
grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Pine Crest Cemetery
in Saline County, Arkansas.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Frazer's Funeral Home
of Warren, Arkansas.
