Mr. Hubert Burnette "Pete" Wall, Sr., age 90, passed away Sunday, October 13, 2013 at his East Brewton residence.
Mr. Wall was born in Jay, FL and had been living in East Brewton since 1946. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, and retired from St. Regis Paper Company after 35 years of service. He attended Golden Memorial Holiness Church. Mr. Wall was preceded in death by his parents, Ervin James Wall & Ethel Inez Sawyer Wall; step-mother, Onie Barnes Wall; two brothers, Jody Wall and Dewight Wall; two sisters, Jeanette Jones and Muriel Golden.
He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Mrs. Frances Golden Wall of East Brewton, AL; two sons, Bernie (Anita) Wall of Brewton, AL, and Tim (Donna) Wall of Grayson, GA; one Daughter, Elaine (Mickey) Wall Baker of Dublin, GA; eight grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren; and a number of nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Golden Memorial Holiness Church with Bro. Andy Boutwell officiating. Interment will follow in Golden Memorial Holiness Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at Golden Memorial Holiness Church on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m.
