Mary Lillian was a beautiful woman all her life. She was used as a model for a portrait of the Madonna that hung in an Orlando bank for years. The Orlando newspaper named her as one of the three most beautiful women who had lived in Orlando. But she was much more than just a pretty face. She was smart, compassionate, and a hard worker. She worked for Senator Claude Pepper for many years as his appointment secretary. When her youngest daughter died she took over the care of her granddaughter who had a brain stem injury from an auto accident. She will stay in my heart forever. She had two daugters:

Diane Elizabeth Chenault 1943- living
Cherry Katherine Chenault 1947- 1992
