Minnie Sink Snyder, 88, of Beverly Healthcare in Martinsville, died Saturday, Feb.21, 2004 at Memorial Hospital of Martinsville and Henry County.
She was born in Franklin County, Feb. 9, 1916, to Joe Pete Sink and Ora Sink.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Woodrow "Woody" Snyder, who died in 1992; four sisters, Annie Martin, Vera Foster, Verdie Dryden and Geneva Handy; and a brother, Gaston Sink.
She was retired from the DuPont Company. She was a member of Highland Baptist Church in Ridgeway.
Surviving are a son, Gerald A. "Jerry" Snyder of Axton, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Burial Park. David Adkins will officiate.
The family will receive friends at the home of her son, Jerry Snyder, 261 Country Place Road, Axton, Va.
