Ocala - Elaine Nix was born in Ocala June 30, 1954, and died at her home in Belleview on July 26, 2013. She was a graduate of Vanguard High School and CFCC. She worked 40 years for United Telephone/Sprint/CenturyLink retiring in March 2013 from the Leesburg office. She traveled and was active in the Belleview Elks Club.
She is predeceased by her parents, Junior and Iris Nix. She is survived by a sister, Pat Dale (John), nephew Ike (Sarah), and cousins.
Graveside services will be held at 2 PM Thursday, October 17, 2013, at Highland Memorial Park.
