He was born on July 17, 1935 in Oakdale to the union of Norman Paul Hicks, II and Nancy Elizabeth Jones Hicks. He was a self employed as a master sign builder. He was a loving father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, and friend.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Norman Paul Hicks, II and Nancy Elizabeth Hicks; and one sister, Sondra Hoffpauir.
He leaves behind his loving family to cherish his memory, two sons, Norman Paul Hicks, IV of Potts Camp, Mississippi and Brandon Boyd Hicks of Lake Charles; four daughters, Susan Hicks Self of Oakdale, Jan M. Hicks of Moss Bluff, Montie Hicks Guillory of Sulphur, and Crystal Watson of Longview; one brother, James David Hicks of Longview; fourteen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; a host of family and friends.
