Darrell Eugene Campbell was born on October 15, 1954 in Mobile, AL to Dorothy and Jessie Bruce Campbell. He died October 8, 2010 in OKC. Gene was previously employed by Tom Davis Lumber Co. He also worked for many years at Payless Cashways, where he met the love of his life, Shanah. Gene was preceded in death by his father, Bruce; his wife, Shanah; and stepchildren, Jason and Jennifer. He is survived by mother, Dorothy, and husband, Larry Dean; brothers, Gaylon and Lynn; sisters, Darlene Rasberry, Joyce Taranta, and Elizabeth Lively; stepchildren, Justin, Jamie, and Brandi; and grandchildren, Ashton, Levi, and Jason. Visitation will be Sunday, October 10, at Bill Merritt Funeral Home, Bethany, OK. A private family funeral is planned. Memorials may be made to City Rescue Mission of OKC.
