Fayleen P. Davidson
Fayleen P. Davidson age 57 of Centralia, Illinois formerly of Edina, Missouri passed away Sunday night, September 28, 1997, in Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, Illinois.
Born August 8, 1940, near Clarence, Missouri, in Shelby County, she was a daughter of Leopole and Martha L. Ellyson Pridemore.
On November 14, 1964, at Edina, she was united in marriage to John Marion Davidson and he survives.
Also surviving are one son, John Anthony Davidson and wife, Rosemary of Raleigh, North Carolina; four sisters, Mary Ellen Barry of Centralia, Illinos, Lennie Farrell and Karen Bascue of Scottsdale, Arizona and Thelma Perkins of Kirksville, Missouri; two brothers, Buddy and James Mitts both of the State of Washington and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Davidson was reared and received her education in the Clarence community in Shelby County, Missouri. She was employed by several Edina Business including the Southside Drug Store. She resided in Paris, Texas for a number of years whre she was an administrative counselor for LaMar County Human Resources. Fayleen was a member of the Methodist Church of Dalhart, Texas; she had also attended the Edina Baptist Church. For the past few years she had resided in Centralia, Illinois. She enjoyed her home and being with family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, October 2, 1997, at the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Chapel in Edina, Missouri. Reverend Luther G. Brewer and Reverend David Howald will officiate the services. Music will be provided by Sandra Browning, soloist and Rita Worthington, organist. Burial will be in the Linville Cemetery at Edina, Missouri.
Casket bearers will be Donnie Hendricks, Allen Davidson, Jim Glasgow, Seabern Barry, Bob White and Leland Klocke.
Friends may call after 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 1, 1997 with the family receiving friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the
