Mrs. Ervin Hoffheins
Mrs. Bessie Viola Utz Hoffheins, 77, formerly of Hanover, died Friday at 4:45 p.m. at the Lutheran Home for the Aged, Gettysburg. Her husband, Ervin J. Hoffheins, died February 13, 1960. Born in York County, she was a daughter of the late Pius P. and Lydia Wareheim Utz. She was a member of the Lutheran congregation of St. Bartholomew Church of West Manheim Charge. Surviving are a sister and a brother, Mrs. Emma Brumgard, Hanover R.D. 1, and the late Richard Utz, Baltimore, and nieces and nephews. The funeral services will be conducted Monday at 2 p.m. at the Kenworthy funeral home, 269 Frederick Street. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday evening. Officiating at the rites will be the Rev. Russell T. Shilling of Lutheran Home for the Aged, York. Memorial contributions may be sent to Lutheran Home for the Aged, Gettysburg.
