Homedale--Services for Charlie Eells 78, of Homedale Route 1, who died Friday morning at his home, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Dakan Chapel in Caldwell.

The Followers of Christ Church will be in charge of services. Interment will follow ar Knolton Heights Cemetery in Canyon County.

Mr. Eells was born Jan 7, 1897. in Forest, Oklahoma. He was reared in Oklahoma and married Willie E Cunningham in July 22 1918, at Meade, Kansas. The couple lived at Gate, Oklahoma until moving to the Homedale area where they since resided. The couple celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 1958.

He was a member of the Followers of Christ Church.

Survivors included his wife, Willie, of Homedale: a son, Billy Eells of Marsing, five daughters, Mrs. Millie Sevy, Homedale, Mrs. Gertrude Gibson, Mrs. Helen Morris and Mrs. Avis Combs, all of Caldwell, and Mrs. Maxine Young of Middleton: five brothers, Wilbur and Jim Eells of Caldwell, Floyd Eells, Gate, Oklahoma, Clyde Eells of Homeadale and Corwin Eells of Marsing: three sisters, Mrs. Maude Bowers and Mrs. Ellen Stadner, both of Caldwell and Mrs. Cornelia Carpenter of Homedale: 24 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews
