Daughter of Floyd Cornelius Gibbs, Sr. and the former Miss Elizabeth Emory

Charlotte was married to Eugene Franklin Wells on December 20th 1945 in Camden, North Carolina. Eugene Wells died on January 15th 1951.

Charlotte later married to Thomas Emery Waite, III on January 8th 1953 in Prince George County, Virgina. Thomas Waite died February 26th 1973.

Several years after Thomas died, Charlotte married Col. Joseph Pressly Muse on November 16th 1979 at Fort Lee, Virginia.
