Anna M. Meyer

Anna M. Meyer, age 85, of Mohnton, passed away October 11, 2013 after a three year battle with lymphoma. She was the wife of John S. Meyer . On June 14th they celebrated 61 years of marriage. Born on December 6, 1927 in Fleetwood, she was the daughter of the late George D. Wanner and Esther L. (Hehr) Wanner. She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church in Mohnton. A graduate of Fleetwood High School class of 1945. Anna spent her life being a homemaker and taking care of her family. She especially enjoyed the outdoors. Surviving is her husband John and two children; son Robert D. Meyer husband of Sheryl L. of Collegeville and daughter Sara R. (Meyer) wife of Harry L. Leininger of Bernville. Also surviving are four grand children Elijah Leininger, Joanna Swanger, Crystal Apsokardu and Rebecca Meyer. Also four great grandchildren: Serena and Logan Leininger, Willow Swanger and Kaylee Apsokardu. Other survivors include sisters Ruth (Wanner) wife of Roy DeTurk, Oley and Kathryn S. (Wanner) Yenser of Fleetwood. Also brother Donald G. Wanner of Fleetwood. Anna was preceded in death by her brother Robert D. Wanner. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday the 15th from the Mae A Stump Funeral Home, Inc., 117 West Main Street, Fleetwood. Burial will follow in St. Paul's Union Cemetery, Fleetwood.
