Born April 28, 1886, in St. Thomas, Ont., Canada, she was the daughter of Joseph B. and Carrie J. Forbes Whitwam. She married Carl A. Gladfelter, who died Dec. 17, 1969.
She formerly was a registered nurse at Otis Hospital in Celina, at Cincinnati hospital during World War I and at Ottawa Valley Hospital.
Surviving are two brothers, Charles C. of Trenton, Mich., and Albert D. of Land-O-Lake, Fla.; and two sisters, Mrs. Ada B. Owens of 821 Faurot, and Miss Carrie Louise Whitwam of 316 S. Woodlawn.
Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Siferd Westwood Chapel, Rev. John Wilcox officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call after noon today at the funeral home.
