Cassella native Irene D. Fink, 73, of Lima, died at 10:45 a.m. July 1, 2005, at her residence. She was born Nov. 30, 1931, in Cassella, to Raymond and Alma Bertke Broerman. On June 18, 1955, she married Arnold L. Fink who died May 28, 1996. Surviving are a son, Larry J. of Lima; three daughters, Deborah A. (Rob) Burkholder, Janice M. (Robert) Landers and Connie S. (Keith) Burkholder, all of Lima; three brothers, Daniel (Marilou) Broerman, St. Henry, Fred (Alma) Broerman, Versailles, and Edgar Broerman, Lima; two sisters, Benita Rindler, St. Henry, and Roseann (Raymond) Bednarcick, Dover, Del.; and 10 grandchildren. She was a member of St. Gerard Catholic Church, Lima, a 1949 graduate of St. John's High School, Maria Stein, and a 1952 graduate of St. Elizabeth's School of Nursing, Dayton. Funeral Mass was at 10 a.m. today at the church with burial at a later date in Gethsemani Cemetery, Lima. Chiles & Sons-Laman Shawnee Chapel, Lima, had charge of arrangements. Contributions can be made to St. Rita's Hospice.
