Cheryl Ann Wunderle Sanders passed away Thursday, October 10, 2013 at Kobacker House, surrounded by her loving family.

"Mimi" – "Aunt Cheryl" was a wonderful mother, grandmother, daughter and sister.

A beautiful lady blessed with a beautiful spirit and miles of style; throughout her entire life, people would stop and comment on her awesome, icy-blue eyes.

Born August 30, 1945 in Columbus, Ohio, she was a longtime resident of Westland, Michigan, returning to Columbus after the passing of husband, George Sanders, with whom she spent many years in the antiques business. A member of High Street Baptist Church in Worthington.

She is preceded in death by father, Robert Wunderle and aunt, Sandy Raymond, both of Columbus, and uncles Richard Jones of Mt. Pleasant, SC, and Jerry Jones of Heath, Ohio. Survived by mother, Patricia Wunderle; brother Steve Wunderle; daughter Jodi (Cid) Mainous; sons Jeffrey (Toni) Bro, Timothy (Kelli) Bro and Steven (Tina) Bro; many grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; cousins, aunts, uncles.

The family wishes to express our gratitude to the outstanding caregivers at Columbus Oncology & Hematology, Riverside Hospital and Kobacker House. Her life will be honored in a Memorial Service, which will be held at 9:00 a.m., Saturday, October 19, 2013 at High Street Baptist Church, 7399 North High Street, Columbus, Ohio 43235.

A private family interment will be held at Sunset Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Cheryl's name to Ohio Health Foundation, In Care of Kobacker House, 180 E. Broad Street, FL 32, Columbus, Ohio 43215-9946.

Her arrangements have been entrusted to Schoedinger Worthington Chapel.
