Victor C. Bish age 70 of Brockport, Pa. died Thursday, October 10, 2013 peacefully at his home after a brief illness.
He was born on May 2, 1943 in St. Marys, Pa. the son of the late Kenneth and Martha Heiberger Bish. He married Lorraine C. "Lorri" Lechien on August 30, 1985 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
He was a die-setter in various local powered metal factories, as well as in Colorado and California. He retired as a self-employed powder metal consultant in 2005. He enjoyed the outdoors and being with family and friends.
He is survived by two children from a previous marriage: Sherry (Gordon) Jesberger of Kylertown, Pa and Roger Bish of Kersey. Also surviving are four grandchildren; Jaren Jesberger of Austin, Texas; twins Kelly and Kerry Jesberger of DuBois; Gena-Lin Bish of St. Marys. Also surviving are three brothers and two sisters: Dewayne Rohrback of St. Marys; Florence Fleming of Emporium, Betty Feidler of DuBois, James Bish of St. Marys and Lyle Bish also of St. Marys.
Numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews also survive.
Calling hours will be on Sunday, October 13 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the Carlson-Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. in Brockway. The Funeral Service will be on Monday, October 14 at 11:00 A.M. also at the funeral home with Rev. Terry Felt officiating. Burial will follow in the Mountain Church Cemetery in Brockport.
