Born in nearby Locust Gap, Elizabeth married Charles August Haile in 1906. Children were Charles (1907-1969), Marie Haile Pease (1909-1972) Robert (1918-1990) and Margaret (1908-1908). After the tragic death of her husband in 1922, Elizabeth followed her children and eventually settled in the Washington DC area. She died June 27, 1944 and is buried with her husband and daughter Margaret in St Eds.
