Thomas J Barr, 73, life long resident of Laclede County, died at 7:20 a.m. Saturday in the Wallace Hospital where he had been confined since suffering injuries in an accident at his farm east of Lebanon.
Mr. Barr is survived by three sons all of Chicago; two brother Lige and Sidney Barr of Plato Star Route and one sister, Mrs. Mary Price of Pueblo, Colorado; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services were at the White Oak Pond Church under the direction of the Palmer Funeral home Monday March 22.
Thomas J Barr was born in 1875 on a farm near Russ and lived his entire life there. He had lived alone there since the death of his wife several years ago. Three sons, Walter, Floyd and llan Barr and four granddaughters came from Chicago to attend the funeral.
