On April 4, 2005 age 58 of Moorestown, NJ. John was retired from the Moorestown Police Dept. after over 27 years of service. During his service he was a Firearms Instructor and spent the last 10 years as a K-9 Officer. He had also worked for J.F. Kennedy Hospital in Cherry Hill as the head of the Security Office for 2 1/2 years. John served in the Army from 1965-1969.
Husband of Susan (nee Eck), Stepfather of Michelle Craig & Brian Craig. Brother of Marie Vincent and Helen Peterson both of Maple Shade. Also survived by his dogs Mandy and the estate Beagle Nellie.
Mass of Christian burial Mon. 10am at St. Peters R.C. Church, W. Maple Ave. Merchantville, NJ. Viewing Sunday eve. 7-9 pm at the LEWIS FUNERAL HOME, 78 E. Main St., Moorestown, NJ. Private interment NJ Veterans Cemetery.
