Mr. Larry James Pitts, 52 of Crossett, Ar, died Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at the Ashley County Medical Center. He was a native of Dermont, Ar.
Mr. Pitts was preceded in death by his parents, Willie J. and Daisy Mae Pitts.

He is survived by his wife, Mazie Johnson Pitts. To this union, one child was born, Kanesia Pitts. He is also survived by a daughter Erica Pitts Langstaff and her companion, Christine Dupree. Mr. Pitts also leaves behind to cherish his memories, seven sisters: Bertha Haynes (Clarence) of Hamburg, Ar., Betty Haynes, Pinkie Causey, Joyce McHenry (Jimmy) all of Crossett, Ar., and Darlene Cherry (Eugene) of Jacksonville, Ar., and Diann Graham of Dermott, Ar; three brothers: Willie Pitts Jr. of Crossett, Ar., Jerry Lee Pitts (Phiyllis) of Mobile, Ar., and Rickey Hawkins (Monica) of Raymore, Mi., along with a host of family and friends.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 at the Faith Center Church 300 North Louisiana Street Crossett, Ar. Active pallbearers are Larry Goodwin, Anthony Strong, Robert Thomas Jr., Hayward Tatum, Zachary Thomas, and Demarquise Pitts. Burial in the Montrose Cemetery under the direction of Mitchell Memorial Funeral Service of Crossett, Ar
