Steuben, Aug. 27, 1880 - The gloom of death has come to another of out households and a feeling of mournful sadness has fallen upon the community. Milton Eychaner, the eldest son of Sylvester Eychaner, died at his father's residence, last Tuesday night, after an illness of but a few days. Thursday of last week he joined his young companions in the pleasure of an excursion to the Thousand Islands; Thursday of this week we followed him, with sorrowful hearts to his grave. The deceased was nineteen years of age, a useful member of society and of a singularly pure and upright character. Rome Sentinel, Tuesday, August 31, 1880
