Nia S. Williams died Saturday, Oct. 5, 2013, at 2:50 p.m. in the Butterfly Wing of Baton Rouge General Hospital. She was 39.
Her funeral will be held in Fairview Baptist Church, Pastor Gus Spurlock will officiate.
She is survived by her father, Edwin C. Williams; mother, Eva Williams; and "mother", Mary D. Williams; one daughter, Derrisha Williams; one son, Derry Thomas Jr.;
3 sisters, Carolyn Ike, Lemor Smith and Beverly Austin;
8 brothers, Sean, Yusuf, Dale, Ammon and Keith Williams, and Minister Clifford Johnson Sr., Ralph and Christopher Johnson; and numerous relatives and friends.
