He was born in Waverly, NY July 28, 1961.
He was predeceased by a sister, Loretta Sue Avery, and a brother, Boyd Charles Avery.
Richard is survived by his daughter, Chrissy Lynn Avery, Spencer; father and mother, Floyd A. & Shirley J. (Moore) Avery, Candor; sister and brother-in-law, Jeanette & Dennis Stahl, Spencer; brothers and sister-in-law, Floyd James Avery, Candor, Lloyd Arthur & Christine Avery, Spencer; Jeff Scott Avery and Tarry Lee Avery, Candor; sister-in-law, Terry Lynn Avery, Ithaca; many aunts, uncle, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service was held at the Allen-Manzer Funeral Home in Spencer on Saturday, March 14th, with Rev. Lee Mead officiating.
