Funeral services for William Thomas Harris Jr., age 80, of Rosenberg, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 28, at Calvary Baptist Church in Rosenberg, with Pastor Byron Williamson officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Rosenberg. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 27, at Garmany and Carden Funeral Home in Rosenberg.
Mr. Harris passed away March 22, 2001. He was born Aug. 19, 1920 in Hillsboro.
He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War and was a longtime member of Calvary Baptist Church. He was an Allstate Insurance agent for more than 20 years in Rosenberg.
Mr. Harris is survived by his wife of 57 years, Christine Perryman Harris; daughter, Linda Sinclair and her husband, Roger; sons, James H. Harris and his wife, Deena, and Ronald Harris and his wife, Sue; grandchildren, Dawn, Stacey, Sharla, Danielle, Dale, Christian, Christy, and Brook; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Martha Peterbaugh and Mary Christian; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Calvary Baptist Church Building Fund, 4111 Airport Road, Rosenberg, Texas 77471.
