Michael L. Scott, 59, of Princeton, formerly of Sheffield passed away Oct. 9, 2013, at his home in Princeton. Born May 29, 1954, in Kewanee to Max E. & Dorothy "Cheryl" (Puffer) Scott, he married Gail Lottens June 6, 1981, in Sheffield. They divorced. He was a 1973 graduate of Western High School. He attended Northern Illinois University for two years. He worked for the village of Sheffield and was the water superintendent for the city of Princeton for many years. He was a member of Princeton Elks Lodge 2129 and St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Sheffield. He enjoyed fishing, canoeing and hunting. He was an avid White Sox and Green Bay Packer fan.
