Travis Lee Wright, age 73, died Monday (Sept. 27, 2010) at his home. He was born in Columbus County, the son of the late Eston Lee Wright and Ila Bullock Wright. He was a veteran of the US Army. He was a member Tobacco Ticket Markers & Auctioneers Association.
He is survived by his wife, Sudie Barfield Wright of Tabor City; one son: Scott Travis Wright of Tabor City, N.C.; two sisters: Hilda Wright Gore and husband Clifford of Tabor City, N.C.; Patricia Wright Adams and husband Thomas of Caswell Beach, N.C.; two grandchildren: Lee Travis Wright and Savanna Renee Wright of Chadbourn, N.C.
A graveside service will be Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in the Minos Meares Wright Cemetery in Tabor City.
