Barbara Ellen (Buss) Burrow
On a winter day in December of 1932, Frank and Verena Buss welcomed her into their arms in Britton, South Dakota. Barbara is the oldest of six children, she is survived by Roger, Maxine, Aritha, Dale and Delano. They learned early that they didn't have much but they had family and that it is the most important part of life. Barbara was a loving, caring, and beautiful woman who loved to spend time with her family.

When Barbara was young, they moved the family to Bellingham, Washington. In 1951, she graduated from Bellingham High School and in 1962 she married her loving husband Hubert Louis Burrow in Bellingham. Hubert was a member of the Navy so they began a life of adventure together in different places in the US. They had two children, Brian and Shannon. She loved and adored her children and was a wonderful wife and mother. After Hubert's retirement in 1974 they returned to Bellingham so she could once again be close to her family.

Barbara loved the holidays and her most favorite time of year was Christmas. She looked forward to the gatherings, the decorations and she so loved to watch her grandchildren, Alexander, Jessica, Jenna and Fallon, open their Christmas presents so she could see the joy in their faces. She also enjoyed cooking and sharing recipes. Hubert and Barbara were great dancers and in their younger years were known to spend many times out dancing which is how they had met. During the summers she enjoyed camping and fishing with family and for many years they would take the grandchildren camping at Potholes State Park.

She was a deeply caring, beautiful person who was always there for anyone who needed help and comfort. There is a special love for her in all our hearts and she will so greatly be missed.
