She married Ronald "Buck" Allen in Columbus on September 15, 1970 and he survives. Other survivors include her daughter, Kim Bardach of Indianapolis; her sons, Eric Allen of Westport, Aaron (Cindy) Allen of Batesville, Jody (Janet) Shera of Westport, and Kirk (Denise) Allen of Sierra Madre, California, her sisters, Phyllis A. Schwering and Margaret Annie (James) Laudick both of Greensburg; her 10 grandchildren and her great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Robert J. Hardebeck and Charles Leo "Sam" Hardebeck.
A funeral mass will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 14, 2013 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Greensburg with Father Bill Ehault officiating. Burial will follow at Union Presbyterian Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held from 2:00 until 6:00 p.m. on Sunday at the Bass and Gasper Funeral Home with a Rosary Service at 1:30 p.m. Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.
