Carrie Ann Daniels, 56, of 4500 St. Andrews Drive passed away Sunday, Oct. 16, 2011.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at L.N. Forbes Original Free Will Baptist Tabernacle, 1800 Lane St. Ext. Elder Elbert Forbes will be the eulogist, and Pastor Gale Shiver will preside. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.

Ann was born in Greene County and was preceded in death by her father, Joe Louis Daniels; and one sister, Elvis Denise Daniels.

Left to remember her with love and thankfulness are her mother, Sadie Artis Daniels of Wilson; her loving sisters, Shelby Jean Daniels Lucas, Marjorie Daniels Little (Ron) and Joanne Daniels Rice, all of Brooklyn, N.Y.; two brothers, Earl L. Daniels (Vicky) of Warnerrobins, Ga. and Jesse Edwards (Barbara) of Wilson; her dedicated fiancee, John Speight of Stantonsburg; seven aunts, Dorothy Barrett, Thelma McClain and Ida Williams, all of Brooklyn, N.Y., Bertha Mills (Billy), Shirley Artis, Gale Shiver (William), all of Greenville, and Penny Ruth Bynum of Fountain; four uncles, Eddie L. Artis (Christine) and Charles Artis of Wilson, Arthur L. Artis (Blondell) of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Willie Daniels of Richmond, Va.; three great-aunts, Rose Stewart of Wilson, Mattie Lee Roundtree of Baltimore, Md. and Lucille Daughtry of Seattle, Wash.; her nieces, Jasmin Daniels of Georgia, Danielle Daniels of New Jersey, Jordane Daniels of Brooklyn, N.Y., Nikkie Edwards of California, Tameka Edwards and Jessica Edwards of Wilson; two great-nieces, Zhani Jones of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Brooklynn Parrish of New Jersey; one great-nephew, Isaiah Tolson of New Jersey; four goddaughters, Mekela Artis, April Artis, Jordane Daniels, all of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Shamecca Chandelrio of Cherry Hill, N.J.; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held Sunday from 12:45 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. at L.N. Forbes Tabernacle. The family will receive friends at the residence and will assemble there one hour prior to service in preparation for the funeral procession.
