Alaska Resident, Joshua Richard Holland "Joshy" went to be with Jesus on April 12th, 2012. A life-long Alaskan, Joshua, 19 years old was born at Providence Hospital in Anchorage on August 9th, 1992.

A service was held at Anchorage City Church April 21, 2012 with a reception following. Joshua was double majoring at the University of Alaska Anchorage in Construction Management and Engineering. Joshua was a devout Christian and he volunteered for years helping the church youth programs at Anchorage City Church and was involved in the Construction Management UAA Club, He enjoyed air soft, video games, reading, writing, sketching, painting, building, sharing stories, music, donuts, candy, movies, Star Wars, Creation Science, chess, and board games. Joshua will be remembered for his funny, dry humor, his childhood obsession with Zorro, and his love to play board games that took all weekend to complete while eating pizza with his family.

Joshua was blessed to have a very large and close knit family; he is survived by his parents, Josh and Michelle Holland; his siblings, Faith, Caleb and Jordan Holland; his great grandparents, Richard and Beverly Strutz, and Great Grandma Holland; his grandparents, Earl and Theresa Holland, Jerry and Ronda Martens, Michael Stafford and Deborah Gomez; his aunts and uncles, Reuben and Kristin Holland, Nathan and Lindsey Holland, Logan and Amanda Holland, Derrick and Jeannine Jabaay, Brett and Angela Stubbs, David and Sonja Stafford; his many great aunts and uncles, cousins, and extended family "I love you all the way to heaven."
