Wilda Mae Davis, 96 years old, of Carlin passed away Sunday, Sept. 25, 2005, at Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital.She was born on July 22, 1909, in Hoyt, Kan. She owned and operated a restaurant and donut shop in California with her late husband, Rex P. Davis. She lived in Elko County since 1981, coming from Silver Springs.Wilda enjoyed attending church and the senior citizens' center. She is survived by one son, Jim Davis of Oregon; two granddaughters, Amber Ellison of Washington and Koree Dean of Oregon; a grandson, Aaron Davis of Arizona; and five great-grandchildren.Services will be held at the Carlin Baptist Church on Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2005, at 10 a.m.
