Andrew Fritts was born in Andersontown, Warren County and while in that section on DEcember 1, 1875, he united in marriage with Anna E. Pence. From this union there were two sons, Wesley and Harry, who with the widow survive. Mr. Fritts and his family removed to Dover from Port Colden twenty-three years ago last fall and have since made their home here.
He was a man among men at all times, a good father and husband, a kindly neighbor and one who once having passed his word stood by what he said.
Mr. Fritts was a member of Mansfield Lodge, No. 36, F. and A. M. and Mansfield Lodge No. 42, I.O.O.F., both of Washington and a member of the carpenters and joiners union of Dover. This last named order attended in a body.
The funeral services were held at the late home on Tuesday morning, the Rev. Dr. A.B. Richardson officiating. The body was interred with Masonic rights in Locust Hill Cemetery by Acacia Lodge No. 29, F. and A. M. of this place.
