Daniel Prescott Prince, 75, of Rt. 2, Hickory, died Sept. 17, 1991, at Catawba Memorial Hospital following a period of declining health.

Born Aug, 6, 1916, in Johnson County, S.C., he was a son of the late Robert Lee and Carrie Prescott Prince.

A member of Sandy Ridge Baptist Church, he was retired from Catawba Paper Box Co.. He was an Army veteran of World War II.

He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include his wife, Pearl Lee Benfield Prince; a daughter, Mrs. Kerry (Gene) White of Hickory; two sons, Edwin Lamont Prince and Tony Curtis Prince of Hickory; and six grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted by the Revs. Homer Greene and Bill Cone at 2 p.m. Thursday at his Church: The body will be placed in the church 30, minutes prior to the service.

Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Reggie Green, Larry Starr, Wesley Moore, Tony Bolick, Toby " Prince and Ronnie Green. Honorary pallbearers will be the senior adult men's Sunday school class.
