E. Z. Marlette, Veteran of Spanish-American War Succumbs After Cerebral Hemorrhage; Funeral Here
FULTONVILLE, July 3.—Edward
Z. Marlette died at his home in Minneapolis,
Minn., Thursday of cerebral
hemorrhage. He was the son
of John C. and Anna E. Fonda Marlette,
and was born in Fultonville
in October, 1874 (WWI Draft has 3 Oct 1873). He served during the Spanish-American War with
Company H, 16th Infantry. The
survivors are Albert and Darius
Marlette, Fultonville; Zollar Marlette,
Shanokin, Fa.; Mrs. Peter
Morford and Mrs. David Baldwin,
Fultonville; Mrs. John McMann,
Albany; Mrs. Samuel David, Gloversville.
Interment will be In Maple Avenue Cemetery here."

FULTONVILLE, July 6.—Funeral
services for Edward Z. Marlette
who died Thursday at his home in
Minneapolis were conducted Sunday
at the Welch funeral home at 2
o'clock, the Rev. Harry E. Christiana
of the Reformed Church officiating.
Members of Floyd Deckro
Post served as bearers and the
firing squad of the post gave the
salute. A delegation of Spanish-
American War Veterans attended
in a body. Interment was in Maple
Avenue Cemetery."

Edward Z. Marlette died Thursday

a short illness. The body arrived
here Saturday and Tuneral
services were held Sunday at the
Welch funeral home at 2:30 o'clock.
Burial was in Maple avenue cemetery."
