DIBRELL, Jefferson L. Age 87 of Nashville, passed away Friday morning, September 14, 2012 at the Alexian Village Health and Rehab in Signal Mountain. Mr. Dibrell was a Fighter Pilot with the Army Air Corp during WWII, and with the Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He worked in management for Genesco for many years. Mr. Dibrell was a member of the Retired Officers Association of Tennessee and F-86 Sabre Jet Pilots Association. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anne Davis Dibrell; parents, William Fredrick and Anne Pearl Dibrell; and a brother, William Fredrick Dibrell, Jr. Mr. Dibrell is survived by his son, Scott Dibrell and wife Kelly of Signal Mountain; three grandchildren, Elizabeth, Nicholas and Lucy; nieces, Debbie Green of Lebanon and Paula Taylor of Virginia; and special friends, Rob and Elaine McNaron, Rebecca and Dan Ramsey, Betty Jo Jones and Kay Mahn. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. Monday, September 17, 2012 at the Mount Olivet Funeral Home. Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in the Arlington Cemetery, in Mount Pleasant, TN.
