She was possibly the daughter of William Phillips (1640 Eng.-1725 Va.) & Susannah Lloyd Phillips (c1658 Eng.- c1726 Va.)(Disputed). (See: Notes Below) She married Capt. John Rucker (1680 Eng.-1742 Va.) in 1702 in Spottsylvania Co., Va. (Now Orange Co., Va.). They were the parents of 12 children all born in Orange Co., Va. John & Susanna were members of the St.Mark's Parish in Orange Co. Va. They are believed to be buried in the St.Mark's Churchyard which is now called the Little Fork Church in now Culpepper Co., Va.
