Wayne H. Cochrane, age 95, of Salt Lake City, passed away peacefully on October 7, 2013.
Wayne was born November 12, 1917 to William and Myrtle Cochrane in Taylorsville, Utah.
He was head custodian with the Salt Lake City School District for thirty years. Wayne enjoyed bowling, camping, and fishing.
He married Lucille Moulton on November 18, 1939 and they had three children: Joyce (Mike) McKendrick, Kenneth, and Ralph. Wayne also has six grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, wife, three brothers, son, Kenneth; and two great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the CNS nurses and the staff at Mount Olympus Care Center for the excellent care that they provided for Wayne.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple Street, Salt Lake City, Utah. A viewing will be held from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. prior to the services.
Interment at the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
