Howard was born on July 22, 1932 in Huntington, Utah to Clara Howard Bagnell and Kenneth Huffman Bagnell.
He was raised in Utah by his mother, Clara and his stepfather, Lee Bagnell.
He is survived by his wife, Lily; her two children, David Moreno of Ventura, California; Cheryl (Jim) Whiteron of Park City, Utah; 5 Grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; brothers Byron(Andrea)of Salt Lake City, Dee (Linda) of St. George, Utah and a sister Clara Lee(Jim)Eckman of Las Vegas,
Nevada.
Howard served with the United States Marine Corp. He was a Korean War combat veteran. Then he went on to become a
Research Technician with The Department of Veterans Affairs and University of Utah. He later worked as a nursing home
administrator in St. George, Utah.
