STOCKTON, David E. God welcomed His special son, David, with open arms, and his family will remember his love and devotion forever. David passed away peacefully Saturday morning at his home in Spokane Valley, WA. Dave was born January 16, 1953 in Caldwell, ID to William E. and Opal L. Stockton. He attended Wilder Grade School and Caldwell High School where he graduated in 1971. He then attended the Univ of Idaho in Moscow where he was a proud member of the Phi Gamma Delta fraternity. He so loved his Figi Brothers. Dave married Gayle A. Carter on October 4, 1975 at Tekoa, WA. Dave was born to be a salesman. Dave loved being a wholesale sales rep for Northwest Bedding/King Koil for 21+ years. Before that he sold shoes and men's clothing at David's Department Store and later at Myklebust's clothing store. The couple lived in Colville for a few years before moving to Spokane in 1981. Dave enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. Survivors include his wife Gayle, son Ryan (Rani) Stockton of Spokane, and daughter, Rachelle (Nick) Radonski of Spokane; his mother, Opal Stockton of Caldwell, ID; sister Sheryl (Roger) Barrie of Caldwell, ID, three sisters-in-law, Jana Stockton of Spokane, Glenna (Greg) Helm, and Sherry (Jim) Klaus and two adorable grandchildren, Carter William Stockton and Walker Dewaine Radonski. He is preceded in God's loving care by his father, William E. (Sonk) Stockton, and his younger brother, Dewaine W. Stockton. A memorial service for David E. Stockton, age 60, will be held Saturday, October 12, 2013 at 11:30am at the Fairmont Memorial Chapel, 5200 W. Wellesley, Spokane WA with a graveside service following at 2pm at Pines Cemetery. KRAMER FUNERAL HOME of Tekoa, WA is handling the arrangements.
