Kent Johnson Van Leuven, loving father, brother, son and friend, passed away December 12, 1994 in Salt Lake City.
He has now joined his eternal companion who preceded him in death just two years ago.He was born of goodly parents on February 2, 1946 at Fort Meade, Maryland to Ray Van Leuven and Vera Johnson Van Leuven.

Married Karen Lee Pedersen on November 1, 1974 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

Survived by two children, Kimberly Ann and Kory J. Van Leuven; mother, Vera Johnson Van Leuven; brothers, C. Ray Van Leuven (Jeanine) and Dale A. Van Leuven (Shirleen). His father also preceded him in death.

Kent served in the U.S. Army and was in Viet Nam for one year. He served an honorable two year mission for the LDS Church and was an active faithful High Priest, having served in many church callings. Kent had a talent for painting and photography which he loved to share with his many friends and family. He was a devoted father and a friend to all.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 16, 1994, at 1 p.m., in the Center 3rd Ward, 1955 West 400 North, SLC. Friends may call at the Russon Brothers Mortuary, 255 South 200 East, SLC, Thursday 6-8 p.m. and at the church Friday from 11:45-12:45 prior to services. Interment will be in the Salt lake City Cemetery.
