ason Chad West, of Covington, died September 15, 2008, at the age of 34. Mr. West was employed as an air conditioning technician, enjoyed hunting, fishing, raising game chickens and was a loving father, brother, son, and friend to many.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Deborah Teresa Thompson West and brother, Ryan Dawson Hunter. Survivors include his children, Lacey West , Selena West , Jason West , Jr., Laila George; father, Herbert Wayne West of Covington; sisters, Angie Nicole West of Jasper, Milissa Hunter of Lawrenceville; brothers and sister-in-law, Christopher Wayne and Elizabeth West of Covington, Jamie Hunter of Lawrenceville; nieces, Ariel and Jacey; nephews, Landon, Andre and Blaine; mother of Jason 's children, Misty George; numerous aunts and uncles.
Funeral services for Mr. West will be held Friday, September 19, at Harmony Baptist Church, with Pastor Phillip Jones officiating and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park.
