Megan Anne Bradley 18 of New Castle went to be with the Lord Sunday, October 6, 2013. Megan was a student at Virginia Western Community College studying Radiology. She loved the outdoors especially four wheeling, bear hunting, fishing and sitting around the fire pit with her friends. She was a true Craig County County Girl. Megan was noted for her bubbly personality and ability to make you smile. She was a member of the Grace Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her grandmother Gloria Bradley; Great grandparents: Dewey and Mabel Bradley, Harry and Iva Brown and Lee Martin. She is survived by her Loving father; James Bradley, mother; Terina Bradley, sisters; Shawna Huffman and Katie Brickey, uncle; Michael Bradley and wife Gina, special aunt; Tanya Bradley, nephew; Robbie Gibson, grandparents; Jim Bradley and Cheryl, Steve and Lillie Brickey and Wanda Brickey, great-grandparents; Lucy Martin, Charles and Blanche Brickey, Cousin; London Bradley and many other cousins, great aunts and great uncles. Funeral Services will be held 12:00 Noon Thursday October 10, 2013 at Grace Baptist Church New Castle with Pastor Mike Bowman officiating. Interment will follow at Paint Bank Community Cemetery, Paint Bank, VA. The family will recieve friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday October 9, 2013 at Paitsel Funeral Home. Megan was driving her 2000 Isuzu Rodeo, with four of her girlfriends, southbound on Rt. 311 in Craig County when she attempted to pass a car that was turning left. She lost control and struck a tree. She and Carleigh Megan Taylor were pronounced dead at the scene. Tia Jordan Gardner died later at the hospital. The other two passengers survived the accident.
