(obit) Mrs. Howard Black, Resident Here for Forty Years, Is Dead, Mrs Howard L. Black, 61 years old, of 1915 Ruddiman avenue, North Muskegon, a resident here for 40 years, died today at Hackley hospital, aftre a brief illness. Formerly Minnie M. Cook, she wase born in Huntington, W.Va., July 1, 1876, coming her from West Virginia. She was married to Howard Black, July 20, 1897, in muskegon. She was a member of the Methodist church of Lakeview and of the Easter Star, No. 378, Lakeview. surving are, her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Garnett Woiff, Of Grand Rapids; Mrs. Aleowyn McMillan, of North Muskegon; Mrs Kenneth Stevens of Ionia; three sons, Chester Black of Ionia; Lowell black of Battle Creek and Garth Black of North Muskegon; nine grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Nellie Cowles King of Laketon Township. Friends may view the remains at the Clock Funeral Home. from where the funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. friday. Interment in laketon Twp. cemetery. Father; Henry F Cook Mother Venila Cook
