"Paul W Edwards, 51, Hopeland, died unexpectedly Friday at 9:15 p.m. in the yard of his home.
Edwards was taking the ashes from the furnace to the yard. His daughter, Mrs. Allen Stober, not in the yard and noticed the he had not returned. She found him lying in the yard.
Dr A H Zwally, Ephrata, the family physician, who had been caring for the man, pronounced him dead and said the death resulted from a coronary occlusion.
He was the son of the late John and Lizzie Walker Edwards and for 30 years been at(sic) tinsmith in Hopeland. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ella Enck Edwards; two daughters, Helen J, wife of Robert Burkholder, McCall, Idaho, and Ardenia, wife of Allen Stober, at home; also two grandchildren.
Edwards was to have been a been a bearer Saturday at the funeral of his wife's uncle, George Enck, from the Mellinger Funeral Home, Denver.
Interment was made yesterday in Hopeland EUB cemetery. Arrangements were in charge of Mellinger Funeral Home Denver."
