Raymond, son of Grover Cleveland and Georgie F. Pyles Bland, died of toxemia and second degree burns to both legs due to an accidental gun powder explosion. The accident occurred on 4 May 1946, but Raymond did not die until 3 Oct 1946 at 14 years, 2 months, 21 days of age. He was born and injured in Maud.
