Long Illness Proves
Fatal To Mrs. Horne
Mrs. D. B. Horne, 74, died at a local nursing home at 8:35 o'clock this morning after a lengthy illness.
A native of Mayfield, Ky., Mrs. Horne had lived here many years.
She is survived by her husband, D. B. Horne; three daughters, Mrs. A. E. Bottenfield, Ridgewood, N.J., Mrs. James C. Alsup, Murfreesboro, and Mrs. John T. Brown, Lascassas; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are two brothers, Dr. W. D. Henry, Crutchfield, Ky., and J. W. Henry, Louisville, Ky.; one sister, Mrs. Gussie Pearson, Akron, Ohio.
The body will be at Jennings and Ayers funeral home, where funeral services will be conducted at 4 o'clock tomorrow afternoon by the Rev. C. E. Hawkins. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Dexter and Ben Hall McFarland, Ben Brown, C. B. Arnold, Watt Pate and A. L. Nisbett.
